February SSR Project

For my February SSR Project I chose to read Looking for Alaska by John Green. In Looking for Alaska, Miles "Pudge" Halter, a boy from Florida who has always attended public school with no friends is now going to attend the private college his father attended when he was younger. While he is there he meets his roommate and the roommates friend named Alaska. Miles soon becomes friends with the two. When Alaska was younger her mother had an anurisim and her father blamed her for it. On the anniversary of her mothers death she was driving to her grave with her mothers favorite flowers highly intoxicated when she hit a cop. Alaska's friends try to figure out why her car did not swerve and why she died. In memory her friends pulled the greatest prank in all of the colleges history. The prank Alaska was supposed to pull her senior year.
