For my Caldwell County project I made little buildings of some of the places we visited. I chose the create Wilson Creek, Lenoir Courthouse, Sim's BBQ, and the Chapel of Rest. The Chapel of Rest is located in Happy Valley. Sim's BBQ is located in Granite Falls. Wilson Creek is located in Collettsville. The Lenoir Courthouse is located in Lenoir.

Josh Shipp wrote a book called Teen's World Guide to Domination. In this book we have learned about the villians in our lives that try to control us. Also in the book we learned how we can overcome them. For my comic strip I chose a Pirate, and Vampire, and a Puppy. The vampire is designed to make people feel jealous of other people. The pirate is a bully. They make you feel bad about yourself. A puppy uses their cute looks to get you to do things you do not usually do.

In Seminar class we created a map of Caldwell County. On our maps we drew some of the places we have visited on our Caldwell County tour. So far we have visited Hudson, Granite, Lenoir, Happy Valley, and Collettsville. In Hudson we visited Fairvalue, the caboos, the windmill, and the Local Bean. In Granite we visited the polic station, Post Office, Huffy's, and the pet store. Also In Granite we visited Sim's BBQ and Bowman's Farm. In Lenoir we visited the Court House, St. Johns Episcopal Church, and the Museum.

At the beginning of 10th grade year in the first semester we created personal mission statements. My goal with my personal mission statement is to be the best person I can be and push myself to the limit in everything I do. The pictures I drew describe the things I like the most and what I want to be when I grow up.
