For the month of November I read the book Wings by Aprilynne Pike. The book is about this teenage girl who has to step out of her comfort zone to move to a new town and has to try out public school for the first time after being homeschooled her whole life. Laurel Sewell

is not your average teenage girl though. Laurel has a special gift that causes her to stand out from the average person. The gorgeous Laurel is actually a plant. She has a beautiful magnificant flower growing out of her back that smells better than any perfume anyone could ever make. Laurel has to cover herself up until the flower falls off until the next season. The only one who can get her through is her best friend David.
