September SSR Project

For my SSR project I chose to read The Fault in Our Stars. The Fault in Our Stars was written by John Green. The book is about a girl named Hazel Grace Lancaster who is diagnosed with Thyroid cancer which eventually spread to her lungs causing her to have to use a oxygen tank. She meets a boy named Augustus Waters in support group who lost a leg to osteosarcoma. Hazel realizes she is in love with Augustus while they are in Amsterdam, and also learns Augustus's cancer is back. When they arrive back Augustus begins teatments only to find that they are not working. Hazel spent every second with Augustus with the time he had left until the day he finally passed away.
